If you require assistance with the FindMyShift roster system, including forgotten username (should be your e-mail address), contact Col Franke ( c.franke@bigpond.com ) or Adam Smith ( info@westernport.org.au )
Note that the system will send you automated reminders by e-mail and/or SMS so you don't miss your shift. It is highly recommended that you configure your reminder preferences. Once you log in, click on your name in the top right corner and select 'contact preferences' from the drop down menu. From there you can select Email and Text Upcoming Shift reminders and by clicking on options you can choose how many days in advance you would like the reminder to come and what time of day you would like to receive it.
For a regular race day (with race starting at 1.30), the Duty Officer is expected to be on site from 10am to 6pm.
The Sailing Officer and Start Boat Crew should be at the club at 11am
The Rescue Boat Skipper, Crew and Swimmer should be at the club at 12 midday
Race Box Manager and Assistant should be at the club from 12.30pm
Usually racing is over and the course packed away by 4.30pm
Exceptions (days with early starts) in season 2017-18 are
- December 27
- January 4
- January 5
- January 8
- January 13
- January 14
- March 10
- March 11
- March 12
Members rostered on these dates should check reporting times with the Duty Officer
Note that volunteers for the Women on Water Regatta (November 11 & 12) will be rostered outside of this process. Team captains will make arrangements with members who can help (all hands to the pump to make this yet another very memorable regatta)
